Slow Cooker Mushroom Beef Tips

Tender slow-cooked beef tips simmered with mushrooms in a rich onion-mushroom gravy. This comforting, low-effort dinner transforms just four simple ingredients into a hearty meal perfect over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.
INGREDIENTS:
3 lbs beef stew meat or sirloin tips, cut into chunks
21 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup 2 cans, undiluted
1 packet dry onion soup mix about 1 ounce
8 oz fresh mushrooms sliced, white button or cremini
DIRECTIONS:
Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
Spread sliced mushrooms evenly across the bottom of the slow cooker.
Arrange beef evenly over the mushrooms.
In a bowl, mix condensed mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix until fully combined into a thick paste.
Spread the soup mixture over the beef, coating as evenly as possible.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, without adding water.
Once beef is fork-tender, stir gently to combine the gravy. Let rest on WARM for 10–15 minutes before serving.
