INGREDIENTS:

For the Meatballs:

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

½ lb (225 g) ground pork

½ cup (50 g) breadcrumbs

1 large egg

2 tbsp milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil (for frying, optional)

For the Whiskey Peach BBQ Sauce:

1 cup (240 ml) BBQ sauce

½ cup (120 ml) peach preserves

¼ cup (60 ml) whiskey

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat).

DIRECTIONS:

Make the meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Roll the mixture into 1-inch (2.5 cm) meatballs and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking until browned on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the whiskey peach BBQ sauce
