The Best Muffins
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 large eggs
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons essence of your choice
2 cups milk
1 cup vegetable oil (cooking oil)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
Prepare Batter: In a mixing bowl, cream (mix) together the sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined. Add the essence of your choice and milk to the mixture and continue mixing until smooth.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, one cup at a time, mixing until smooth and well combined.
Prepare Muffin Pan: Grease a muffin pan or line it with paper cups.
Fill Muffin Cups: Pour the muffin batter into the greased muffin pan or paper cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
Bake: Place the muffin pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy your homemade muffins!
