The Best Ever Pepper Steak
Slow cooker recipes are perfect choices for those days when you know that the evening is going to be crazy. Sometimes, when you have to work late, the temptation is to hit a drive-through and get a “heart attack in a sack.”  However, if you plan ahead and throw a meal into the slow cooker, you can have dinner ready as soon as you walk in the door. This recipe for Best Ever Pepper Steak is one recipe that can make your evening so much easier on a busy day.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. Beef stew meat
2 Large bell peppers chopped into large chunks
1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Minced garlic
1 Can Beef broth
1 Can Stewed tomatoes
1 Tbsp. All purpose flour
1 tsp. Seasoned salt

DIRECTIONS:

Mix together the flour and seasoned salt.
Sprinkle the seasoned flour over the meat and toss to coat well.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Add the meat and peppers to the skillet and saute until the meat is seared on all sides.
Add the garlic to the skillet and saute another 30 seconds.
Pour the meat and pepper mixture into a Crockpot.
Mix in the stewed tomatoes, beef broth and worcestershire sauce. Stir to comine.
Cook on low heat for 8 hours.
