Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino
INGREDIENTS:
For the Frappuccino Base
01 1 cup milk (any type)
02 ¼ cup strawberry puree (from fresh or frozen strawberries)
03 ¼ cup vanilla ice cream
04 ¼ cup ice cubes
05 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
06 ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
For Topping
07 Whipped cream
08 Fresh strawberries, sliced
09 Shortbread cookies, crumbled (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Step 01
If making your own strawberry puree, blend about ½ cup of hulled fresh strawberries until smooth. For a smoother texture, you can strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
Step 02
In a blender, combine the milk, strawberry puree, vanilla ice cream, ice cubes, sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no ice chunks remaining, about 30-45 seconds.
Step 03
If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes or a little more ice cream and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
