Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Activate the yeast in warm milk with 1/4 cup of sugar. Let it sit until frothy.
Add the melted butter, salt, eggs, and 2 cups of flour. Mix well.
Gradually add the remaining flour, kneading the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for about 1 hour.
Mix the softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon for the filling. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Roll out the risen dough into a large rectangle (16×12 inches).
Spread the cinnamon butter mixture over the dough, followed by the cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle the diced strawberries evenly over the top.
Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 12 slices.
Place the slices in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and let them rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Optionally, add strawberry jam for extra flavor.
Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls before serving.
