Steakhouse Burger Sloppy Joes

INGREDIENTS:

Sloppy Joe Filling

240 ml chicken broth
30 ml steak sauce
15 ml Dijon mustard
450 g ground beef
30 g unsalted butter
225 g mushrooms, thinly sliced
140 g white onion, coarsely chopped
5 ml Montreal steak seasoning
16 g all-purpose flour

For Serving

8 regular-size burger buns, toasted
60 g sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

DIRECTIONS:

Step 01

In a medium bowl, whisk together chicken broth, steak sauce, and Dijon mustard. Set aside.

Step 02

Heat a 30 cm skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 7–8 minutes, stirring frequently, until fully browned. Drain excess fat and transfer beef to a plate.
