INGREDIENTS:

12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or your favorite)

1 lb (450g) ground beef

2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

6 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups (480ml) heavy cream

1 cup (100g) grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup (240ml) of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef:

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the butter and olive oil. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
