Slow Cooker Creamy Alfredo Pasta
A comforting, creamy pasta dish made right in your slow cooker. This easy Alfredo pasta comes together with simple ingredients like heavy cream, Parmesan, and garlic. Perfect for busy nights when you want a homemade meal with minimal fuss. Toss in leftover chicken for extra heartiness.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound fettuccine pasta break in half
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese fresh if possible
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp butter
1 cup cooked chicken diced, optional
fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to your slow cooker. Stir well, scraping the sides to mix in any cheese.
Add the butter and cooked chicken (if using). Stir gently to combine.
Break the fettuccine in half and place it in the slow cooker. Press the pasta down into the sauce, moving it around so it’s mostly covered.
Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
When the pasta is tender and the sauce is thick and creamy, stir well to coat the noodles completely.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
