Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Thick-cut pork chops are slow cooked in a sweet and savory brown sugar, Italian dressing, and soy sauce glaze until tender and saucy. This easy four-ingredient dinner is rich, comforting, and perfect with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
INGREDIENTS:
4 thick-cut bone-in pork chops about 1 1/4 inches thick, 2 1/2 to 3 lb total
1 cup brown sugar packed, light or dark
1 cup Italian dressing regular full-fat
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Optional: Sear the pork chops in a hot skillet for 1–2 minutes per side, until browned on the outside.
Place the pork chops in a 6-quart slow cooker in a single layer if possible.
In a bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Italian dressing, and low-sodium soy sauce until smooth and glossy.
Pour the sauce over the pork chops, coating them well.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until the pork chops are very tender.
