Slow Cooker Beef Bourguignon

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, sliced

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 bay leaf
¼ teaspoon pepper
4 slices bacon, chopped
6 small yellow onions, sliced in half
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS:
Combine first 8 ingredients and stir to cover meat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
