Reuben Sandwich

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp butter

2 slices deli rye swirl bread

3 tbsp Thousand Island dressing

6 oz thinly sliced beef

2 slices Swiss cheese

1/4 cup sauerkraut (liquid squeezed out)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat a medium skillet over medium-low heat and melt the butter.

Spread Thousand Island dressing on both slices of rye bread and place them in the skillet.

On one slice, add squeezed sauerkraut; on the other slice, layer two slices of Swiss cheese.

Evenly distribute the thinly sliced beef over the cheese.

Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side, gently pressing down with a spatula.

Once done, cut in half and serve immediately.
