INGREDIENTS:
1 16oz container refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
4 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded or diced string cheese
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Open the biscuit container and separate the 8 biscuits.
Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
Place a piece of mozzarella in the center of each flattened biscuit (1 tablespoon shredded or 1 diced piece).
Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching the edges to seal and form a ball.
Place the cheese-filled biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
Brush the tops of the biscuits generously with the seasoned butter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted inside.
Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce like marinara, ranch, or aioli.
