Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, green bell pepper, celery, minced garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Press the meat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, forming an even layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
Meanwhile, in a separate mixing bowl, combine the cooked elbow macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, milk, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh parsley. Mix until well combined.
Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove it from the oven and spread the mac and cheese mixture evenly over the top.
Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
