Loaded Turkey Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta
INGREDIENTS:
For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta (or your favorite shape)
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Sauce:
1 lb lean ground turkey
6 slices bacon (chopped)
1 small onion (finced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 jar (16 oz) Alfredo sauce (or homemade Alfredo sauce)
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for depth)
For Toppings:
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon (reserved from earlier)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Pickles (chopped, optional, for a cheeseburger vibe)
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Bacon and Turkey
In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
Add the ground turkey to the same skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in the chopped onion and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Step 3: Build the Sauce
Pour in the Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Step 4: Combine the Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Step 5: Serve and Garnish
Divide the pasta into bowls and top each serving with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and reserved crispy bacon.
Garnish with fresh parsley and chopped pickles for a true cheeseburger experience.
