Greek Chicken Gyro

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs.
2 cloves garlic, minced.
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt.
2 tablespoons lemon juice.
1 tablespoon olive oil.
1 teaspoon dried oregano.
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pita bread or flatbread.
Tzatziki sauce.
Sliced tomatoes.
Sliced cucumbers.
Sliced red onions.
Crumbled feta cheese.
Fresh parsley for garnish.

DIRECTIONS:

Combine garlic, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper for marinade.
Marinate the chicken in a dish or bag, refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat grill or skillet, cook chicken 6-8 minutes per side.
Warm pita, add chicken, tzatziki, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta, and parsley.
Fold pita over filling, serve immediately.
