Garlic Potato Pops

Tantalizingly crispy and infused with aromatic garlic butter.

INGREDIENTS:

1 tsp garlic granules.
1 tsp onion granules.
1 tsp paprika.
2 large potatoes (peeled and cubed).
Salt and pepper (to taste).
4 tbsp cornflour (add more as needed).
Cooking oil spray.
100 g butter.
2 tsp garlic granules.
Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped).

DIRECTIONS:

1. Begin by peeling and cubing the potatoes, then simmer them until they are tender enough to easily pierce with a fork. Drain the water thoroughly.
2. Move the boiled potatoes to a bowl. Introduce the garlic granules, onion granules, paprika, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Mash vigorously until the mixture is smooth, then incorporate the cornflour to reach a doughy texture.
3. Shape the potato mixture into small balls and arrange them neatly in the basket of an air-fryer. Apply a light coating of cooking oil spray.
4. Set the air fryer to 200°C, cooking the potato balls for 15-20 minutes. Give the basket an occasional shake to ensure even browning.
5. As the potato balls are cooking, craft the garlic butter by stirring together the butter, garlic granules, and chopped parsley in a bowl suitable for microwaving. Warm the mix in short bursts until fully melted.
6. Once the potato balls emerge crisp and golden, move them into a serving bowl. Drizzle with the freshly made garlic butter and gently mix until they are evenly coated.
7. Serve these delightful Garlic Potato Pops straight away, enhancing with extra garlic butter if desired.
