1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
1.5 oz (40g) French onion soup mix (1 packet)
1.5 cups (375 ml) boiling water
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
2 medium brown onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp (15 ml) brown sugar
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Additional fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
