Easy Hamburger Rice Casserole

This Easy Hamburger Rice Casserole is a comforting one-dish meal that combines juicy ground beef, tender rice, and rich flavors, all baked to perfection. It’s a quick and delicious option that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
2 cups beef broth
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
to taste none cooking spray
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, uncooked rice, and frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir everything together until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and return to the oven. Bake uncovered for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
