Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta
INGREDIENTS:
For the Pasta:
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)
1 medium onion (diced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (optional, for added flavor)
2 cups beef broth
12 oz bowtie pasta (uncooked)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Optional Add-Ins:
1 cup frozen peas or spinach
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)
For Serving:
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Brown the Ground Beef
In a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes, or until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 2: Add Liquids and Seasonings
Pour in the beef broth, diced tomatoes (if using), and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Cook the Pasta
