Cranberry Orange Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tbsp orange zest (from 1 large orange)
2 tbsp fresh orange juice
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
For the Orange Glaze (Optional):
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp orange juice
½ tsp orange zest
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream Butter & Sugar
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, orange zest, and juice; mix well.
3. Add Dry Ingredients
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips (if using).
4. Scoop & Bake
Drop 1-tbsp balls of dough onto the baking sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
5. Glaze & Serve
Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, and zest; drizzle over cooled cookies.
