Cornflake Peanut Butter Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
½ cup white sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup peanut butter
3 cups cornflakes cereal
DIRECTIONS:
Gather all ingredients.
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil.
Stir in the butter and peanut butter until thoroughly combined, then remove from the heat.
Place the cornflakes into a large bowl. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the top and mix until the cornflakes are well coated.
Drop 1-tablespoon scoops of the mixture onto a waxed-paper lined baking sheet. Flatten slightly if desired.
Allow the cookies to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
