Cookie Dough Snickers & Reese’s Ice Cream
INGREDIENTS:
For the Cookie Dough:
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
For the Ice Cream Base:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 Snickers bars (chopped)
4 Reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped)
For the Fudge Swirl (optional):
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp corn syrup
DIRECTIONS:
Make the Cookie Dough:
In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add vanilla extract and salt, then mix in the flour until smooth. Fold in mini chocolate chips. Chill the dough for 30 minutes, then break it into small, bite-sized pieces. Prepare the Ice Cream Base:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until combined. Make the Fudge Swirl (optional):
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in heavy cream and corn syrup, cooking until smooth and thickened. Let it cool slightly. Churn the Ice Cream:
