Classic Meatballs Alfredo

Classic Meatballs Alfredo

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and nutmeg. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Return the meatballs to the skillet, coating them in the Alfredo sauce. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
