Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake
Who doesn’t love cheesecake? Not me and I’m pretty sure you love cheesecake too. With this chocolate chip cookie dough recipe, you’ll find a delicious mix of sweet cookie dough and chocolate mixed with creamy mouth-watering cream cheese. The burst of flavor in this simple but excellent cheesecake is just what you need!
INGREDIENTS:
For the crust:
1 ½ C. Oreo cookie crumbs
1 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
¼ C. Butter melted
For the cheesecake:
16 oz. Cream cheese softened
¾ C. Granulated sugar
3 Large eggs
1 C. Sour cream
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
For the cookie dough:
¼ C. Packed brown sugar
¼ C. Butter melted
¼ C. Granulated sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. Water
½ C. All purpose flour
1 C. Semi sweet chocolate chips
For the topping:
1 C. Sour cream
2 tsp. Granulated sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the ingredients for the crust to a mixing bowl, and stir until combined well.
Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a well greased 9” Springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool.
Mix together the ingredients for the cheesecake filling until well blended, and poor on top of the cooled crust.
Blend together the ingredients for the cookie dough mixture, and press it into the top of the cheesecake filling in the Springform pan.
Bake the cheesecake for 45-55 minutes until lightly browned and done.
Let cool to room temperature and then chill for 2 hours.
Mix together the ingredients for the topping and place on top of the cheesecake, sprinkling some additional chocolate chips on top of desired.
Chill for another 2+ hours before serving.
