Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta
INGREDIENTS:
01 – 450 g ground beef
02 – 1 small onion, finely diced
03 – 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 – 200 g uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow)
05 – 480 ml beef broth
06 – 425 g tomato sauce
07 – 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
08 – 15 ml mustard
09 – 15 ml ketchup
10 – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
11 – 1 teaspoon onion powder
12 – Salt, to taste
13 – Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
14 – 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
15 – 240 ml heavy cream
16 – Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
01 – Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up the meat with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 – Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until the onion turns soft and translucent.
03 – Stir in uncooked pasta, beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
04 – Bring the contents to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta absorbs most of the liquid and is just tender.
05 – Fold in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir over low heat until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
06 – Remove from heat. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
