Cheesy Beef Croissant Ring
INGREDIENTS:
1 package of refrigerated croissant dough (8 rolls)
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
1 egg (for egg wash)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Vegetables:
Add the diced bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables soften. Season with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well, then remove from heat.

Prepare the Croissant Dough:
Unroll the croissant dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange the croissant pieces in a circle, leaving a hole in the middle, like a ring.

Assemble the Croissant Ring:
Spoon the beef and vegetable mixture into the center of the croissant dough. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top of the filling.

Egg Wash:
In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush the egg wash over the top of the dough to give it a golden finish.

Bake:
Bake the croissant ring in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Let the ring cool for a few minutes before cutting into it. Serve warm and enjoy!
