Caramel Apple Fudge Delight
INGREDIENTS:
01 Sugar: 2 cups.
02 Brown sugar: 1 cup.
03 Unsalted butter: 3/4 cup.
04 Evaporated milk: 2/3 cup.
05 Apple cider: 1 cup.
06 Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon.
07 Nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon.
08 White chocolate chips: 2 cups.
09 Marshmallow cream: 7 ounces.
10 Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon.
11 Dried apple slices: 1/2 cup, chopped.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 01
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside.
Step 02
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and apple cider. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage (approximately 234°F or 112°C on a candy thermometer).
Step 03
Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, white chocolate chips, and marshmallow cream until smooth.
Step 04
Stir in vanilla extract and chopped dried apple slices.
Step 05
Pour the fudge into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Step 06
Let the fudge cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Step 07
Once set, cut the fudge into small squares and enjoy the sweet and tangy flavors.
