Bread in a Jar in a Minute: No Yeast, No Sugar, and No White Flour!
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup almond flour (or oat flour for a nut-free option)
2 tbsp rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
1 large egg
1/4 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Optional add-ins: 1 tbsp shredded cheese, chopped nuts, seeds, or cinnamon for extra flavor
DIRECTIONS:
Prepare Your Jar
Grab a heat-safe jar or mug that’s at least 12 oz in size. Ensure it has enough room for the bread to rise during cooking.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the almond flour (or oat flour), rolled oats, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Add Wet Ingredients
Crack the egg into the dry mixture and stir vigorously until a thick batter forms. If adding optional ingredients like cheese, nuts, or cinnamon, fold them in now.
Pour Into the Jar
Transfer the batter into your prepared jar, spreading it out evenly. Leave about an inch of space at the top since the bread will puff up slightly while cooking.
Microwave
Place the jar in the microwave and cook on high for 60–90 seconds , depending on your microwave’s power. The bread should puff up and set during cooking.
Cool & Serve
Carefully remove the hot jar from the microwave (use oven mitts!) and let it cool for a minute before digging in. Slice the bread directly in the jar or turn it out onto a plate.

Top with butter, avocado, jam, or any spread of your choice. For savory options, try olive oil, hummus, or sliced tomatoes.
