Beef and Onion Stir-Fry
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 large onions, sliced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the beef to the skillet, spreading it out evenly. Let it sear without stirring for 1 minute, then stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until nearly cooked through.
Add the sliced onions to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for another 4-5 minutes until the onions are soft and caramelized.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
