Banana Bread with honey and applesauce instead of sugar & oil

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup sugar-free applesauce

3/4 cup honey

2 eggs, beaten

3 mashed overripe bananas

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the applesauce and honey. Stir in the beaten eggs and mashed bananas until well combined.

Add the banana mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
