Baked Lemon Pepper Chicken

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 pounds chicken thighs or legs
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
Juice and zest from 1 lemon

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray or line with foil.
In a small bowl add the lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder salt and Italian seasoning and mix until combined.
Place the chicken in a large bowl and toss with olive oil and lemon juice until coated.
Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken and toss until coated. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken has reached the internal temperature of 265 degrees and juice run clear.
Remove from the oven land et rest for 5 minutes and serve!
