Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders
INGREDIENTS:
For the Chicken Tenders:
1 lb chicken tenders (or boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1–2 tablespoons olive oil spray (for crispiness)
For the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a hint of heat)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Prep the Chicken
Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy coating. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Set Up the Coating Station
Set up three shallow bowls for the coating process:
Bowl 1 : Place the flour.
Bowl 2 : Beat the eggs.
Bowl 3 : Combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Coat the Chicken
Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off any excess.
Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.

Cook for 8–10 minutes , flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the honey, minced garlic, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and well combined. Remove from heat.
Step 6: Toss and Serve
Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a mixing bowl. Drizzle the honey butter garlic sauce over the tenders and toss gently to coat evenly.
