This comforting Slow Cooker Pepper Steak is the easy, hearty dinner that practically cooks itself! Tender strips of beef sirloin mingle with colorful bell peppers and a savory, slightly sweet sauce. Perfect for busy days when you want a warm meal waiting for you at home.
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds beef sirloin cut into strips or chunks
1 onion diced or sliced
3 bell peppers sliced, any color combination
3 cloves garlic minced
3/4 cup beef broth
3 beef bouillon cubes crumbled
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp ground ginger or fresh grated ginger
salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp cornstarch plus extra if needed for thickening
DIRECTIONS:
Place the beef strips in the bottom of your slow cooker. Top with diced onion and sliced bell peppers, nestling them around the beef.
