Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta
INGREDIENTS:
For the Steak
680 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
→ For the Cajun Alfredo Pasta
340 g twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
240 ml heavy cream
60 g grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Step 01
Cook twisted pasta in abundant boiling salted water according to package directions. Reserve 120 ml of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 02
While pasta cooks, pat steak cubes dry and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
Step 03
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes and sear for 3-4 minutes, turning as needed to brown all sides. Remove steak from skillet and keep warm.
