INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)

1 clove garlic (minced)

1 egg (beaten)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme (or parsley for freshness)

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper (to taste)

For Coating and Frying:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 additional egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1 cup breadcrumbs (for coating)

Vegetable oil (for frying)

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the rissoles tender.

Step 2: Shape the Rissoles

Divide the mixture into equal portions (about 1/4 cup each) and shape them into flat, round patties (about 1/2-inch thick).
