Beef Liver and Onions

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound beef liver

34 tbsp bacon grease (or butter/margarine)

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

¼ tsp garlic powder

12 large onions, peeled and sliced into rings

½ cup flour

1 cup water

DIRECTIONS:

Rinse and pat dry the beef liver. Slice into even pieces.

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge the liver pieces in the flour mixture.

In a skillet, heat bacon grease over medium heat. Add onion rings and cook until soft and golden. Remove and set aside.
