Super Moist Banana Bread
INGREDIENTS:
For the Bread:
3–4 ripe bananas (about 1 ½ cups mashed)
1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed, for extra moisture and depth)
1 large egg (beaten)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream (optional but highly recommended for extra moisture)
Optional Mix-Ins:
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) . Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Mash the Bananas
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients
Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Step 4: Add the Dry Ingredients
